The day’s exhilarating festivities will kick off at 12:00 on the Heineken Concert Terrace with a performance by DJ G-Force, a renowned figure in the South African electronic music industry from Johannesburg. The DJ’s set is sure to set the mood for the day’s races, performing up until 15:00. Following this is a performance by The King’s Club band, an accomplished group scheduled to entertain the crowd between races until 18:00. Adding a unique touch to the event, a brass band will close down the races as the final act on the Heineken Concert Terrace, before it transitions into the Official Heineken Silver Afterparty.

From 19:00, the energy levels at the party are set to escalate with a performance by GoodLuck, a Cape Town live-electronic band known for sharing stages with globally celebrated artists. The spotlight will then shift to NV Funk, a Gqom DJ from Cape Town, distinctive for his live drum performances, promising a unique musical experience. Following this, DJ Dean Fuel, among Cape Town’s most popular dance music figures, will delight the crowd, accompanied by Lee Thompson, an internationally known musician, on the trumpet.

Highlighting a mesmerizing fusion of electronic and African sounds and vocals, Karyendasoul will entertain the guests from 21:15 to 22:00. Recognized for his collaborations with top South African artists, he is the co-producer of the 2021 hit “Osama” with Zakes Bantwini and Kasongo. The grand finale of the Official Heineken Silver Afterparty will feature DJ Loyd and Sir Vincent, a sought-after electronic music duo from Cape Town, ensuring an unforgettable conclusion to the evening.

The race theme for this year, “Cape Splendour”, is a tribute to the stunning beauty of Cape, its rich past, and its significant contribution to the city’s sports and social life. The event will also host a fashion show by top SA fashion designer Gavin Rajah and eight other distinguished designers. In addition, a best-dressed competition for both men and women will be held, with cash rewards for the most notable attire.

The standard Heineken Concert Terrace ticket, costing R750 per person, provides access to a cash bar, dedicated food trucks, live entertainment throughout the day, a large screen for the races, and entry to the Official Heineken Silver Afterparty.

For those seeking a more lavish experience, the Racing Pavilion Package, valued at R4,200 per person, offers premium seating, free drinks until 18:00, snacks on arrival, lunch, access to the after-party, a dedicated bar, and top-notch service. Groups of 2-20 people can enjoy personalized seating and their waiter.

Offering a tranquil experience amidst the excitement, the Garden Picnic Area tickets, priced at R2,950 per person or R5,500 per couple, include a picnic box, a complimentary bottle of bubbles, a dedicated cash bar and tote, a large screen for the races, and access to the after-party.

The General Access Unreserved Grandstand Tickets, at R150 per person, offer a panoramic view of the day’s races, easy access to Totes, and a diverse choice of food and drink vendors. However, these tickets do not grant access to the Official Heineken Silver Afterparty. It’s important to note that the event is strictly for those aged 18 and above.
