This April, a remarkable celebration of Earth Month is set to take place as The Walt Disney Company collaborates with National Geographic to introduce ourHOME, an extraordinary initiative. This venture is designed to draw attention to and promote both in-house and external endeavors aimed at safeguarding, restoring, and lauding our planet. This collaboration marries the century-long tradition of Disney’s storytelling and National Geographic’s 136-year history of discovering and exploring.

In recognition of Earth Month, National Geographic and Disney+ have set in motion the ourHOME campaign, to rekindle the awe we feel for our planet. At the heart of the campaign lie three stories from Disney Planet Possible, which will be unveiled in a digital series. National Geographic’s talents will give firsthand accounts of sustainability initiatives happening at Walt Disney World Resort as they interact with these efforts.
Additionally, Disney+ is set to reveal an exclusive ourHOME content collection to mark the occasion. This compendium brings together some of the most engaging storytellers and content creators, all joined in their admiration for the splendor of our planet.
The ourHOME initiative showcases a wide variety of alluring content from the critically acclaimed series Queens to the awe-inspiring Incredible Animal Journeys, along with the entire array of Disneynature films. Audiences can look forward to the premiere of the latest addition to Nat Geo’s Emmy® Award-winning Secrets Of… series, Secrets of the Octopus, on Earth Day, 22 April. This installment will be narrated by the highly esteemed Paul Rudd.
For those with a passion for wildlife, the highly anticipated Disneynature film Tiger, set to release on 22 April, will provide a mesmerizing glimpse into the life of a young tigress rearing her cubs in the magical forests of India. This film is narrated by Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Apart from these premieres, a dedicated ourHOME television spot will also make its debut, featuring the legendary voice of Morgan Freeman. This ad will be broadcast across Disney-owned television stations and various digital platforms throughout South Africa.
