On July 26th, 2023, a group of criminals executed a business robbery at a supermarket in Kuilsrivier, seizing cigarettes, smoking equipment, and a significant sum of cash. Moreover, they kidnapped a 34-year-old businessman. As soon as the crime was reported, the multi-disciplinary team sprang into action, launching a thorough investigation to bring the criminals to justice and rescue the hostage.

The team, composed of experts from various fields, diligently followed up on all available leads, which eventually led to the arrest of ten suspects. Further investigation brought the team to an address in Tamrisk Street, Delft, where they discovered the kidnapped businessman. Displaying exceptional skill and bravery, they managed to rescue the hostage and subsequently arrested another suspect on-site.

The Apprehension of 11 Suspects

The remarkable work of the task force led to the apprehension of an additional ten suspects. Ranging in age from 22 to 43 years, these individuals are set to appear in the Blue Downs Magistrates’ court on Monday.
