Rafique Foflonker, Chairperson of the Lansdowne Community Police Forum, spoke to IOL about the shocking event. While he couldn’t confirm the motive behind the shooting, Foflonker speculated that it could have been gang-related. He emphasized the community’s concern about the perpetrator’s blatant disregard for his surroundings.
