Acting Premier MaQueen Letsoha–Mathae Comforts Bereaved Families in Mangaung

Acting Premier MaQueen Letsoha–Mathae recently visited three families in Mangaung to express her condolences and offer support. The families had suffered the loss of loved ones due to a fire and an alleged act of violence. Letsoha–Mathae’s visits demonstrate the Free State Provincial Government’s commitment to stand by its citizens in times of hardship.

Khayelitsha Fire Takes Three Lives

The Acting Premier’s first visit was to a neighborhood near Bloemfontein, where a fire destroyed two shacks in the early hours of September 3rd. The blaze claimed the lives of three individuals, including two young children and an elderly man. The community was left reeling in shock and mourning the loss of their neighbors and family members.
