Get ready for the first-ever Amapiano Fest in Cape Town, where the city will come alive with the sound of South Africa’s newest music genre. The festival is on 30 April 2023 at The Ostrich, Cape Town’s open-air event venue. This festival will celebrate the vibrant and energetic Amapiano music culture with a stellar lineup of top-notch artists and live performances.

Amapiano is a fusion of deep house, jazz, and kwaito music from South Africa’s townships. Its piano-based beat, catchy melodies, and soulful vocals characterize the genre. The Amapiano music culture has taken the country by storm, with its unique rhythm and infectious beats, becoming a fan favorite in the club scene.

The Lineup of Amapiano Fest

The Amapiano Fest 2023 lineup promises to be epic and unforgettable, with talented artists set to perform live. Cape Town’s own TwinzSpin, Fizz & Shai-A, Aux Womdantso, and DJ Schuster will take the stage and spin the decks, ensuring the city is well represented.

But that’s not all, as Aymos, the hitmaker of “Mama,” and Njelic, the hitmaker of “Down the Drain,” will grace the stage and set the mood for the evening. TxC, who have just released a hit, “Vuka Mawulele,” featuring Khanyisa, will join the lineup. Mr. JazzIQ, the hitmaker of “Woza,” featuring Lady Du, Boohle, and MFR Souls, the hitmakers of “Love You Tonight” featuring Sha Sha, and Reece Madlisa, the hitmaker of “Iy’nsimbi Yase Envy,” will also perform, making this festival an unforgettable experience.
