The initial investment of R1.5 billion in May 2022 grew to encompass an additional R1.8 billion, demonstrating the company’s dedication to South Africa’s economic development.

Ardagh Glass Packaging Africa operates four modern glass production facilities in Bellville, Clayville, Nigel, and Wadeville, generating approximately five billion glass containers annually. The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Paul Curnow, emphasizes the demand for sustainable packaging in Africa and Ardagh’s commitment to meeting this need by investing in its people and assets.
