Bulls Daisies Gear Up for the Second Round of the 2023 Women’s Premier Division

The Bulls Daisies are ready to face off against Border for the second round of the 2023 Women’s Premier Division. The match will take place at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, June 24, 2023, with kick-off set for 13:00. The Bulls Daisies welcome back club captain Lusanda Dumke to their starting lineup for this match.

Lineup Changes

Head coach Hayden Groepes has made seven changes to the matchday 23 that triumphed over the Lions a week ago. In the starting XV, Anathi Qolo will switch to lock, partnering with Rights Mkhari. Dumke will play at blindside flank, and Sinelitha Noxeke will be stationed at openside flank. Meanwhile, Vainah Ubisi will be taking a break, and Kayla ‘Kat’ de Vries and Unam Tose will join the impact squad. Sinenhlahla Kwinana, Lebogang Ralebona, Rachele du Plessis, Sophy Mashapa, Unathi Mali, and Marelize de Bruin will also be on standby to provide fresh legs from the sidelines.

Staying Focused

Qolo spoke to the media about the importance of staying grounded and focused, emphasizing that the team must not get carried away by the noise surrounding their success. Captain Dumke added that they expect the same level of competition from Border as they encountered in round 1 in East London. She explained that the team must keep to their high standard and remain focused, as they know it will not be an easy game and expect Border to put up a fight.
