Deputy Minister Judith Tshabalala Joins Female Bikers in Water Donation to Hammanskraal

Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation, Ms. Judith Tshabalala, and a team of bikers from the South African Female Riders Forum have joined forces to donate water to the people of Hammanskraal. The aim of the donation is to mitigate the effects of the cholera outbreak in the region, showcasing the power of community and government working together to alleviate public health crises.

On June 3, 2023, the deputy minister and bikers from different clubs in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and North West gathered at Jubilee Mall in Hammanskraal to hand over the donated bottled water and water purification tablets (Aqua Tablets). The Aqua Tablets alone have the capacity to purify up to 7.2 million liters of water, offering significant help to the community’s fight against the cholera outbreak.
