Empowering Entrepreneurs: eThekwini Business Seminar Aims to Support Emerging and Disadvantaged Businesses

The eThekwini Business Seminar is a collaborative effort between the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs (KZN EDTEA), and the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality. The event, scheduled for August 29, 2023, at the Durban Exhibition Centre in Durban, aims to empower local entrepreneurs.

Equipping Emerging and Disadvantaged Businesses

The eThekwini Business Seminar intends to equip emerging and disadvantaged businesses with valuable information, insights, and funding opportunities from the agencies of the dtic and KZN EDTEA. Its objective is to support these businesses in today’s competitive market, creating a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and networking among entrepreneurs, state entities, and agencies.
