The Economic Growth Directorate of the city initiated the inaugural Khayelitsha Local Economy Symposium at the OR Tambo Indoor Centre, bringing together a dynamic group of entrepreneurial talents from the community.

Vos highlighted the successes of two businesses, Eezy Technologies and Mcotshana Holdings, which had participated in the program and consequently experienced growth in their employee numbers.
