Enhancing Housing Solutions: Western Cape Infrastructure and Community Engagement

The Western Cape Department of Infrastructure, in partnership with the Cape Agulhas Municipality, recently conducted a Housing Demand Database verification drive in Struisbaai and Napier. The two-day event, held on 29 and 30 July 2023, demonstrated the power of community engagement in addressing housing issues.

Strong Community Support

Over 400 residents participated in the initiative despite the cold weather. They visited registration stations at the Napier Community Hall, the Struisbaai Library, and the Struisbaai Community Hall. The remarkable turnout highlights the community’s strong commitment to finding solutions to local housing challenges.
