Gender DynamiX: Pioneering Trans Rights in Africa

Gender DynamiX (GDX) is a registered public benefit organization that has been at the forefront of advocating for the rights of transgender and gender-diverse individuals in Africa since its inception in 2005. Over the years, GDX has become a leading voice in the trans and gender-diverse movement in South Africa and beyond.

Knowledge and Advocacy

Sound Governance

GDX recognizes the importance of effective operational procedures and sound governance structures. To ensure that all structures serve both staff and the board, GDX maintains a voluntary board, creates an informed and accountable environment for staff, interns, and volunteers, documents internal procedures, develops work plans, manages organizational risks, and promotes organizational learning.
