However, the challenge didn’t stop at dealing with vegetation fires. There was a 15% increase in the total amount of incidents compared to the prior years. However, an initial review of the data signals a sharp increase in operational hours in the subsequent year, with the helicopters logging no less than 280 hours and the spotter plane, 132 hours starting from December 1, 2023.
