Media Accreditation and Outreach Activities for the KZN Presidential Imbizo

The Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) has invited media professionals to apply for accreditation to cover the KwaZulu-Natal Presidential Imbizo scheduled for June 30, 2023. This event is significant as it provides a platform for open dialogue between the government and citizens, aimed at addressing and resolving various issues.

Outreach Activities

The KwaZulu-Natal Province is organizing a series of build-up outreach activities preceding the Imbizo, led by Ministers, Members of the Executive Council (MECs), and Mayors. These activities are organized in different parts of the uThukela District Municipality and across the province. Media advisories will be issued for each outreach activity to keep the media and the public informed.

Application Process

Media professionals interested in obtaining accreditation for the Presidential Imbizo are advised to complete the provided registration form in full and submit their applications by Monday, June 19, 2023, at 16h00. The designated contact persons for submission are Takalani Mukwevho and Menzi Ntaka.
