Change in Representation Due to Urgent Government Commitments

Initially, Deputy President Paul Mashatile was scheduled to deliver the Opening Address as the Chairperson of the South African National Aids Council (SANAC). By bringing together stakeholders and experts from various fields, the conference fosters a spirit of collaboration and shared responsibility in combating HIV/AIDS, TB, and STIs.

With Minister Phaahla’s involvement in the conference, the South African government reaffirms its dedication to eliminating these public health threats. The collective knowledge and expertise shared at the 11th SA AIDS Conference will undoubtedly contribute to the continued development and improvement of strategies to combat HIV/AIDS, TB, and STIs in the country.
