The magical city of Cape Town is eagerly anticipating the launch of vendor applications for the annual My Cape Town Market in Company’s Garden. Taking place from December 16th to 20th, 2023, the market guarantees an exceptional fusion of local craftsmanship, inventive novelties, and culinary wonders. Starting on Monday, October 16th, aspiring entrepreneurs can submit their applications to secure a coveted spot at this mesmerizing event.

Alderman James Vos, the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, is enthusiastic about welcoming vendors to this year’s market. Nestled within the beautiful surroundings of the Company’s Garden, the event provides an excellent opportunity for budding entrepreneurs and designers to exhibit their skills and engage with a wide audience.

As an adored tourist attraction, the Company’s Garden delivers a magnificent setting for the My Cape Town Market. Organized by the City’s Economic Growth Directorate, the event encourages an entrepreneurial mindset, creating a dynamic environment that supports economic prospects and nurtures new connections for the participating vendors.

The market also features an abundant variety of family-oriented entertainment and activities, including captivating live performances suitable for all ages. Essential Information for Prospective Vendors

Vendors eager to take part in the 2023 My Cape Town Market can secure a bay for a fee of R107,20 per day for the entire event. With limited space available, applicants must ensure they meet the selection criteria to be eligible for a trading opportunity.

Vendor application forms can be found online at https://bit.ly/3RWgkDM or obtained in print from Monday, October 16th. Hard copy applications can be picked up on weekdays, from 09:00 to 15:30, at the following addresses:

  • 1st Floor, 44 Wale Street, Cape Town
  • 2nd Floor, Civic Centre, 2 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town
  • Ground Floor, Administrative Block, Goodwood Municipal Offices, Corner of Voortrekker Road and De Villiers Road, Goodwood
  • Block C, Stocks and Stocks, Ntlazane Road, Khayelitsha
  • Ground Floor, Plumstead Offices, 3 Victoria Road, Plumstead
