The North West Provincial Legislature’s Standing Committee on Provincial Public Accounts (SCOPA) is scheduled to hold a series of virtual Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) public hearings. These hearings aim to scrutinize the 2021/22 audit reports of various key organizations. The hearing will involve high-ranking officials, including Premier Bushy Maape, MEC Keenetswe Mosenogi, and the Mmabana Arts Foundation’s board members, alongside senior management. The hearing will start with the Auditor General’s briefing on the Office of the Premier at 11:00, followed by the Premier’s session at 11:30. The DACSR and Mmabana Arts Foundation will be subjected to the Auditor General’s briefing at 13:00, culminating in their hearing from 13:30 to 16:00.
