Orlando Pirates Strengthens Their Squad with Exciting New Signings

Orlando Pirates, one of South Africa’s leading football clubs, is committed to continuously improving and maintaining their competitive edge. Recently, the club announced the signing of several promising players, including the talented 21-year-old Congolese midfielder, Karim Kimvuidi.

Orlando Pirates Secure Karim Kimvuidi

Despite initial rumors that DC United was pursuing Kimvuidi, the Pirates successfully secured his services. The club’s official social media channels confirmed the signing, and Kimvuidi is set to join the team based in Soweto.

Signing of Lesedi Kapinga

The club has secured the services of Lesedi Kapinga, a 28-year-old attacking midfielder who recently represented Bafana Bafana in the COSAFA Cup. Kapinga has signed a three-year contract with the club and expressed his excitement to join the team.

The Pirates announced the signings of Sephelo Baloni (Cape Town All Stars), Katlego Otladisa (Marumo Gallants), Melusi Buthelezi (TS Galaxy), and Patrick Maswanganyi (SuperSport United) earlier this month. These new additions signify the team’s commitment to strengthening their lineup for the upcoming 2023/24 season.

Departures

As the club welcomes new players, they have also bid farewell to several members of the squad including Terrence Dzvukamanja, Ntsako Makhubela, Craig Martin, Nkanyiso Zungu, Kopano Thuntsane, and Ndumiso Mabena.
