Remembering Professor Dan Kgwadi

The passing of Professor Dan Kgwadi has left a void in the South African academic community. He was a highly respected figure known for his dedication to education and research. His legacy, however, will undoubtedly live on.

Overcoming Adversity

Professor Kgwadi’s achievements are particularly remarkable, given his humble beginnings. Growing up in a poor community with limited resources, he defied the odds and developed a passion for physical science and mathematics from an early age. His academic journey eventually led him to pursue postgraduate studies in the United States of America, where he obtained various scholarships.
