The SAPS’s swift action led to the arrest and charging of a 33-year-old female driver for drug dealing, demonstrating their firm stance on this issue.

In another operation, members of the Table View SAPS received information about a drug courier who had booked a hotel room in Marine Drive. The SAPS acted promptly and confiscated 13 containers (13 kg) filled with Tik, which has an estimated street value of R3.2 million. The Hawks have taken up the case and are pursuing the suspect. The SAPS members’ efforts in this operation highlight the importance of information sharing in tackling drug abuse effectively.
