South Africa’s national netball team, the Spar Proteas, has been impressing fans and opponents alike at the Netball World Cup held in Cape Town. The team has won their first two matches, establishing their place as a strong contender in the prestigious tournament.

Victory Over Wales

In their opening match at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), South Africa defeated Wales with a resounding 61-50 victory. Norma Plummer earned her 100th international victory in her 153 international matches as a coach. In their second match, the Spar Proteas faced Sri Lanka and showed their dominance, clinching an 87-32 victory.
