The Spar Proteas have continued to impress netball enthusiasts worldwide with their exceptional performance at the on-going Netball World Cup. In their latest match against Sri Lanka, the South African team put up a dominant display, winning 87-32 after securing a 15-point lead in the opening quarter.

Elmeré van der Berg and Nichole Taljaard were instrumental in setting the tone for the match, showcasing their coordination and skills. The Proteas’ exceptional passing skills and fluid gameplay earned them a clinical victory.

Van der Berg was a standout player, converting 28 out of 31 goal attempts and contributing significantly to the halftime lead of 45-18. The Proteas’ relentless attack and seamless coordination were too much for Sri Lanka, who despite their efforts, could not match the South African team’s prowess.
