The Traffic Service conducted integrated roadblocks, vehicle checkpoints, and speed control operations, resulting in 67 arrests and 44,587 fines for speeding and other traffic offenses. Officers also issued 1,955 warrants of arrest. Of the 67 arrests, 62 were for driving under the influence of alcohol, and five were for reckless and negligent driving.
During the past weekend, PECC call agents managed 132 physical assault calls and 19 calls related to gunshot incidents. They also received 35 calls for assistance with motor vehicle accidents.
