The City’s Mayoral Committee Member opened the event for Urban Waste Management, Alderman Grant Twigg. In his speech, Alderman Twigg emphasized waste’s value and recycling’s importance. He commended Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages and Redefine Properties for their efforts in promoting a more waste-conscious society.

Judging and Announcement of Winner

The competition will be judged by external judges selected by Blue Route Mall, and the winning school will be announced by the end of April. The winning team will be awarded a grant of R20 000 courtesy of Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages.
