The menu features a variety of succulent beef, chicken, and vegetarian patties, encased in freshly baked buns and served with crispy chips, priced at a reasonable R120. Younger guests can relish a specially curated kiddies’ burger and chips for just R80. For those with a sweet tooth, the café serves refreshing soft serve ice cream (R30) or a delectable pairing of chocolate brownie and ice cream (R60).

The Nguni Café is situated in a breathtaking landscape against the Hottentots Holland mountain range, featuring a glass conservatory adorned with hay bales that fuses rustic charm with modern elegance. The indoor seating area can accommodate 30 people, while the outdoor deck can host up to 70 guests, ensuring ample space for everyone to enjoy this unique experience.

Apart from the delectable menu, nature lovers can revel in the calving season, where children and adults alike can spot adorable Nguni calves mingling with the adult cattle. This delightful sight adds another layer of charm to the Nguni Café experience.

Reservation and Operating Hours

The Nguni Café pop-up is open until the end of July, operating from Wednesdays to Sundays, between 10 am and 4 pm. Reservations are not available, and seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
