The Cause

The VWS Trail Challenge is organized and executed entirely by VWS volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to ensure that all proceeds go directly to the organization. VWS relies heavily on public donations and events like the Trail Challenge to cover operational and logistical costs associated with combating wildfires in the Western Cape region.

Post-Race Celebration

Participants have the opportunity to unwind with cold beers courtesy of Jack Black, with R5 from each beer sold being donated to the VWS fundraising initiative.

Registration

Ticket prices for the VWS Trail Challenge 2023 are set at R350 for the 10km and R470 for the 20km options. The event is open to both seasoned trail runners and newcomers alike.

Training

As the race date draws near, participants can follow a training plan tailored to their chosen distance to ensure they are prepared for the physical demands of the race.

Join the VWS Trail Challenge 2023 and immerse yourself in awe-inspiring landscapes while supporting the commendable cause of preserving our planet’s natural treasures. This event promises to be an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
