Thuntsha Lerole Service Delivery Programme and 2023 Integrated Public Service Month: Accelerating Progress and Empowering Communities in Tswaing Local Municipality

On September 1, 2023, the Acting Premier of Ngaka Modiri Molema District, Nono Maloyi, will launch the Thuntsha Lerole Service Delivery Programme in Tswaing Local Municipality. This coincides with the celebration of the 2023 Integrated Public Service Month. The event will be attended by MECs from various departments, Executive Mayors, and Mayors in the district, all with the aim of providing service delivery interventions and enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Tswaing.

Empowering Communities through the Thuntsha Lerole Accelerated Service Delivery Programme

The Thuntsha Lerole Accelerated Service Delivery Programme is an innovative approach to empowering communities to become solution-oriented in addressing their local service delivery challenges. It demonstrates the value and contributions of public servants across the three spheres of government, celebrating their commitment to the Batho-Pele improvement initiatives.

Service Delivery Activities during the Event

During the event, Acting Premier Maloyi and MECs will lead service delivery activities throughout the Tswaing municipality. These activities include fixing street lights, patching potholes, clearing illegal dumping sites, de-bushing crime hotspots, inspecting vehicles, ensuring business compliance, processing identity document applications, registering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs), and more.

The launch of Thuntsha Lerole Programme and the 2023 Integrated Public Service Month will take place on Friday, September 1, 2023, at the Letsopa Community Hall, Ottosdal. The government service exhibitions and community feedback will take place at 09h00, while the community engagement will be at 14h00. The community engagement will be streamed live on the Office of the Premier’s digital platforms.
