South Africa’s Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana Receives African Banker Finance Minister of the Year Award
Enoch Godongwana, the Finance Minister of South Africa, has been awarded the prestigious African Finance Minister of the Year Award 2023. The annual African Banker Awards, organized by African Banker magazine, recognize policymakers and bankers across Africa who have played a transformative role in reforming and modernizing the banking and financial sectors.
The award ceremony took place on May 24, 2023, at the Rixos Sharm Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, during the annual meetings of the African Development Bank.
