Tragic Death of Lyle Johnson in Cape Town

The community of Cape Town is mourning the tragic death of 28-year-old soccer player Lyle Johnson, who was killed in a hit-and-run incident. Johnson played for Trinitarians Football Club, where he was known for his passion for soccer and uplifting personality.

Heart-wrenching Circumstances

Lyle Johnson’s death was particularly heart-wrenching. While travelling in a bakkie with a work colleague, he fell off and was run over by two taxi drivers who were driving recklessly. The drivers fled the scene, and Johnson passed away on the spot. The police have opened a case of culpable homicide and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
