On September 16, 2023, the Department of Women, Youth, Children, and Persons with Disabilities (DWYPD) and the NEEMA Foundation will collaborate to organize the 7th Annual Silent Walk & Run at Marks Park Sports Ground in Emmarentia, Johannesburg. The event aims to break down the barriers created by stigmatization and discrimination against people with disabilities through a high-profile awareness campaign.
