Four & Twenty

If you’re looking for a charming café to satisfy your brunch cravings, Four & Twenty is the perfect spot for you. Located on Chelsea Village’s high street, this café has been loved by brunch-loving hedonists and health-conscious foodies alike for a long time.

Tracy-Leigh Gaag and her colleagues have established a new location of Four & Twenty at Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate. Nestled among other cottages, the new establishment offers the same delectable cuisine as the original Wynberg location, with minor modifications.

All-Day Breakfast and Bakes at Four & Twenty

The café’s menu features decadent Benedicts, such as the Green Eggs & Ham Benedict, which consists of poached eggs, Dijon-brushed sourdough, basil Hollandaise, and crackling hickory ham. There are also customizable breakfast options, a brunch platter, and banana and pecan streusel pancakes. And let’s not neglect their freshly baked delights, which include an assortment of scones and muffins.

Lazy Lunches with a View

The café offers a colorful array of lunch options, including a fiery calamari salad with mango, jalapeno, and confit garlic and a classic and comforting ham-and-cheese toastie with a bechamel and honey-mustard glaze. All of the above complement a glass (or bottle) of Constantia Uitsig wine splendidly. Alternately, various fresh beverages, coffees, and silk-teabag concoctions are available. Finally, if the sun is shining, claim a position on the veranda and take in the breathtaking views of the vineyard.

Relaxing Atmosphere

Four & Twenty is a cozy and hospitable establishment created to make you feel at home. You can settle by one of the windows and take in the sun or appreciate the courtyard outside. The tranquil atmosphere and the personnel will make you feel right at home. Of course, there are better places to find a calm place to work, but it is beautiful to catch up with friends over coffee and dessert.

Book in advance if you plan to visit, as it can get quite busy. And remember to check out their Instagram for any announcements about weekend sundowners.
