The Klipheuwel Wind Farm, owned by Globeleq, was highlighted as an example of renewable energy’s potential. The 27MW facility supplies power to around 19,000 households and serves as a reminder of the increasing need to look to renewable energy sources to help become energy resilient.

Premier Winde acknowledged that the time is ripe for accelerated investment in renewable energy sources to provide long-term solutions to the country’s energy needs.
