James Vos, the Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, revealed that Cape Town played host to an impressive 317,000 foreign visitors in December alone, and a cumulative 2.9 million visitors throughout 2023. These statistics set new benchmarks, thereby catalysing further job creation in the city’s tourism industry.
