Cash-Free Entry to Cape Point and Boulders Penguin Colony in Table Mountain National Park

If you’re a nature enthusiast planning a visit to Table Mountain National Park, there’s excellent news for you! Starting 1 April 2023, two of the park’s gates, Cape Point and Boulders Penguin Colony, will be completely cash-free. The move is part of the South African National Parks (SANParks) initiative, which began earlier this year, to go entirely cashless. This initiative simplifies the payment process and promotes a more eco-friendly approach to park management.

No More Cash Worries

As a visitor, you no longer need to worry about bringing cash to pay for your conservation or entry fees at these two gates. Instead, the payment process has been made easier and safer by using either a debit or credit card. Visitors can also purchase tickets online, making it even more convenient for them.
