The South African Police Service (SAPS) is investigating the incident, with assistance from the City’s Safety and Security Investigation Unit (SSIU). No arrests have been made yet, but the authorities are working tirelessly to uncover the truth and ensure justice is served.

Reagen Allen, the Provincial Minister of Police Oversight and Community Safety, expressed his condolences to Magwa’s family and vehemently condemned the criminals’ barbaric actions.
