A Collaborative Effort

The roadshow will showcase the efforts of implementing partners within the National Pathway Management Network, local community organizations, civil society entities, and other government agencies. By bringing together influential stakeholders from the government, civil society, and private sector, the roadshow fosters a collaborative environment dedicated to combating youth unemployment.

Connecting Young People to Opportunities

The primary objectives of the Youth Opportunities Roadshow include connecting young people to earning, learning, and micro-enterprise opportunities through the SA Youth platform and other complementary platforms such as the Department of Employment and Labour’s Employment Services South Africa (ESSA) system and the NYDA’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

A Catalyst for Change

The SA Youth Opportunities Roadshow is a significant step towards addressing the pressing issue of youth unemployment in South Africa. By providing a platform for young people to access resources, network with potential employers, and learn about alternative career paths, the roadshow contributes to the development of a skilled and empowered workforce that is ready to tackle the challenges of the modern world.

The SA Youth Opportunities Roadshow serves as a testament to the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders in South Africa to create an environment that nurtures the potential of its youth. As young people converge on Setlagole to discuss, network and learn, the event will undoubtedly serve as a catalyst for change in the lives of countless individuals and, in turn, the nation as a whole.
