Menu at Burger & Lobster

The restaurant’s menu revolves around three core items: the beef burger, the lobster roll, and fresh Lobster (steamed or grilled). The beef burger patty is made from three cuts of A-grade beef, while the lobsters are sourced from the South African South Coast and Maine in the USA. Only sustainable lobsters are used, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability. The brioche buns used for the burger and lobster roll and the butter sauce used for the Lobster are freshly prepared onsite. Each dish includes a fresh herb salad and a side of fries.

In addition to the core menu items, a selection of Chef’s Specials are rotated regularly, such as the five-week dry-aged organic steak, the seven samurai lobster roll, and the Lobster Nicoise salad with a twist. The dessert menu also changes regularly, so you must ask your server what’s available on the day.

The ambiance of Burger & Lobster is urban and energetic, with black steel, exposed brick, and buttoned leather seating. The restaurant transitions seamlessly between a relaxed lunch spot by day and a vibrant restaurant and bar by night. The professional and friendly service carries a fast pace, with restaurant staff committed to delivering food orders within 15 to 20 minutes of them being placed.

Cocktails at Burger & Lobster

Burger & Lobster has established itself as a firm favorite on the highly competitive Bree Street strip ever since it opened in 2016. A selection of cocktails is created in collaboration with top South African bartender and mixologist Brent Perremore, and recommended burger/lobster and cocktail pairings are included in the menu.
