business controversy

Leeroy Sidambe is a business tycoon who has gained recognition for his successful professional ventures and his romantic relationship with socialite Mihlali Ndamase. Despite his achievements, Sidambe’s life has been marred by controversy and legal challenges.

Arrest Warrant for Failure to Pay Child Maintenance

Sidambe’s recent arrest warrant was issued after his ex-girlfriend accused him of failing to pay child maintenance for their child. The child was born a month before Sidambe’s first child with his now-estranged wife, Mary-Jane Sidambe, in 2007. The couple got married in 2016 despite the existence of Sidambe’s child with his ex-girlfriend.

According to Sunday World, Sidambe’s ex-girlfriend sought child maintenance payments after her mother, who had been supporting her son, passed away in 2012. Although she requested R4,000 per month, Sidambe has been inconsistent in his payments.

Failure to Pay Employees of Sakhile Ezweni Group

Sidambe also faces accusations of failing to pay employees of his company, the Sakhile Ezweni Group. The company employs guards for the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) and reportedly withheld or delayed payments to workers.

According to an insider, Sidambe used to pay his workers on the 7th or 8th of the month, but now he’s making irregular payments. Some of the workers are unable to afford transportation costs due to the delayed payments. Despite Sidambe’s promises to rectify the situation, workers’ salaries for April remained unpaid.

Disappointment and Frustration from those who know Sidambe

A source close to the child maintenance issue expressed disappointment with Sidambe, stating that “The baby doesn’t exist in his life. All he does or says are empty promises. He can do everything for his friends but not his child.” This statement characterizes Sidambe as an individual who prioritizes his social and business circles over his familial responsibilities.

Another source expressed frustration with Sidambe’s alleged actions regarding payment of his employees, stating that “This man needs to be put in his place or government should give someone else the tender because he’s failing [to uphold his commitments].”

The Importance of Balancing Personal and Professional Lives

Sidambe’s personal and professional troubles highlight the importance of maintaining a balance between one’s personal and professional lives. It is a lesson that success in business does not exempt anyone from their responsibilities and commitments in their personal life. As Sidambe’s legal challenges continue, it remains to be seen how these issues will impact his relationships and business ventures.
