The Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) of South Africa is launching “Vuk Talks Podcasts” on June 29, 2023. This initiative aims to increase accessibility to the Vuk’uzenzele flagship publication and cater to the tech-savvy youth who prefer audio content for fast-paced, mobile news consumption.

Meeting the Needs of South African Youth

GCIS aims to empower South Africans through communication excellence. Vuk Talks Podcasts will play a crucial role in achieving this mission by providing access to essential government policy decisions and programs. The bi-monthly podcast will cover broader topics such as Gender-Based Violence and Femicide, Economic Reconstruction and Recovery, and Safety and Security.
