This announcement has been made through an extravagant social media campaign to showcase the new recruits that will be donning the team’s colors in the upcoming season. The team’s latest signings represent their ambition to strengthen their squad and tackle the challenges ahead.

Chivaviro Controversy

One of the new signings that has caught the attention of fans is Ranga Chivaviro. His move to the Chiefs was not without controversy. Before joining the Chiefs, Chivaviro had been associated with Marumo Gallants for the previous season. He was also reported to have signed a pre-contract with Richards Bay.

However, the Gallants extended Chivaviro’s contract, which nullified the pre-contract he had with Richards Bay. Agent, Pontsho Madumo, explained the situation and confirmed that Chivaviro’s move to the Chiefs is legitimate. According to Madumo, Chivaviro had signed a pre-contract with Richards Bay before the expiration of his initial contract with the Marumo Gallants.

The New Signings

The Kaizer Chiefs have also made five other signings for the new season. Given Msimango has signed a four-year contract and will wear the number 25 jersey. Thatayaone Ditlhokwe signed until June 2027 and will wear the number 24 jersey. Edison Daniel Castillo Garcia has agreed to a two-year deal, and Pule Mmodi has signed a three-year contract, and they will wear the number 13 and 3 jerseys, respectively.

Mduduzi Mdantsane will wear the number 3 jersey too and will be a part of the team until June 2026. The jersey number for Edison Daniel Castillo Garcia is yet to be confirmed.

The Chiefs’ Ambition

The team’s ambition to strengthen their squad is clear with the signing of these talented players. The Kaizer Chiefs are determined to make a significant impact on the league and build on their storied legacy. The combination of skill, determination, and teamwork will be crucial for the team’s success.

Season’s Approach
