Ronald Pfumbidzai, Abdulrazack Hamza, Terrence Dzvukamanja, and Washington Arubi, who has returned to United, are some of the seasoned players who have joined SuperSport United in preparation for the new season. Additionally, Phathutshezdo Nange, Grant Margeman, and Siphesihle Ndlovu have signed up with the club after an excellent campaign that led to CAF qualification.

SuperSport United’s head coach, Gavin Hunt, is determined to lead his team to success against Richards Bay FC on August 5. Balancing the need for domestic and African tournament success will require strong tactical choices, including potentially substituting Ricardo Goss with Arubi in cup games and CAF matches.

Thulani Hlatshwayo brings seasoned expertise to the team’s defense, while Luke Fleurs, Ronald Pfumbidzai, and Jesse Donn promise a promising partnership. Onismor Bhasera will play a crucial role at left-back before retiring at the end of the 2023/24 season, while Keenan Phillip is expected to start at right-back against Richards Bay.
