Renowned fashion designer Nobukhosi Mukwevho will be joining the panel of judges in the fourth episode of the Miss South Africa television series, Crown Chasers. The episode will air on Sunday, July 30, at 16:00 on SABC 3. Mukwevho will join Bonang Matheba, Leandie du Randt, and Zozibini Tunzi on the show.

Honouring Our Heritage

The upcoming episode is titled “Honouring our Heritage,” and it aims to emphasize the importance of embracing South Africa’s diverse cultures and backgrounds. In the first challenge, the finalists will be introduced to Banyana Banyana, the national women’s football team, as they prepare for the World Cup. This challenge highlights the importance of national pride.

In a heartwarming display of tradition, the contestants will be asked to create their favorite dish and explain its significance to them. However, the main challenge extends beyond culinary skills. The contestants must deliver a five-minute TED Talk about their heritage, emphasizing how their community and family have shaped their identity and why they deserve to represent the Miss South Africa brand.

The episode will conclude with a captivating photoshoot that delves into African cultures, further emphasizing the richness of South Africa’s heritage.

Nobukhosi Mukwevho is the creative force behind the dynamic South African fashion brand @Khosinkosi. She had previously judged the Top 30 in the last Miss South Africa show. Her presence on the show promises to add a unique perspective and fresh insights to the judging panel.
