North West Acting Premier Patrick Dumile Nono Maloyi is leading an initiative to enhance service delivery in the province. The Accelerated Service Delivery Programme – Thuntsha Lerole, launched in Mamusa Local Municipality, aims to involve communities in addressing the service delivery issues faced by the region. This program will be implemented across four districts, emphasizing community involvement and feedback on service delivery progress.

The initiative aims to establish a transparent platform to inform communities about the government’s progress in response to their demands. Provincial government departments and State-Owned Entities will collaborate to provide services to the local residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively and efficiently. Key stakeholders from various political backgrounds will actively participate in service delivery activities, encompassing waste management, infrastructure, agriculture, and small business enterprises.

Service Delivery Activities

The activities include clearing of illegal dumping sites, fixing internal roads, patching potholes, ensuring business compliance, providing veterinary services to local farmers, distributing agricultural produce to beneficiaries, and registering Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises.

Community Engagement and Accessibility

To promote transparency and accessibility, community engagement activities will be live-streamed on the Office of the Premier’s digital platforms. This will enable community members who cannot attend the events to stay informed about the progress of the Accelerated Service Delivery Programme – Thuntsha Lerole and the services provided to their communities.
