Donovan Everitt, Chief Operating Officer of Cape Racing, shared his thoughts on the revitalization of Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. “Witnessing our vision come to life as we reintroduce Hollywoodbets Kenilworth as a spot that appeals to horse racing fans, families, and groups of friends and coworkers is thrilling,” he said. Everitt further provided insights on the venue’s improvements. These upgrades have amplified the entertainment offerings, rendering a unique cultural experience that reflects Cape Town’s diverse offerings.

The remodeling of the venue includes a comprehensive multimedia makeover. This allows the attendees to stay updated with all the happenings via cutting-edge digital screens placed throughout the premises. The venue is now home to one of the country’s largest outdoor screens, guaranteeing that visitors won’t miss a fraction of the fervour.

The Hollywoodbets Cape Guineas event is just one of the highlights of the Racing Renaissance Cape Summer Season of Champions, which will feature six additional races until February 2024. These consist of the internationally acclaimed Grade 1 events: the L’Ormarins King’s Plate due on 6th January and the World Sports Betting Cape Town Met scheduled for 27th January.

The thrilling fusion of horse racing and the vibrant ‘Voorsmakie’ Parade by the Cape Minstrels ensures an unforgettable day at the Grade 1 Hollywoodbets Cape Guineas. The event starts at 11 am, with horse racing initiating at 11:30 am. The day promises high-energy entertainment and culminates with the Cape Minstrels’ parade from 6 pm until 11:45 pm.
