The two men took her to the city’s outskirts, where they brutally raped and stabbed her more than 30 times. In a macabre finale, they disemboweled and nearly decapitated her before leaving her for dead. Despite the odds, Alison managed to crawl to a nearby road, holding onto her slit throat and slashed stomach, where she flagged down a passing driver and miraculously survived the ordeal.
