That same month, a combination of art and adventure is available during a retro road trip weekend led by a group of Royal Enfield motorcycle riders.

The hotel replaces a standard menu with an award-winning cookbook, offering guests a hands-on culinary journey. May concludes with an exclusive opportunity to learn from the renowned potter, Chris Silverston.

Highlighting Literary and Well-being

In June, the spotlight is on the literary world. South African writers Jo-Anne Richards and Joanne Hichens lead a memoir workshop and retreat, followed by a week-long residency for an immersive writing experience.

The programme also recognizes the significance of self-awareness and wellness, dedicating an entire weekend in June to the art of being present. This includes guided meditation and yoga workshops accompanied by live music.

Automobile lovers have something to look forward to in July and August. Highlighting the Harley-Davidson weekend, the town is transformed into Harley-Dale, a paradise for motorcycle enthusiasts. The love for speedy and roadworthy sports cars is celebrated in August, with a weekend dedicated entirely to these high-octane machines.

The year wraps up with two additional workshops by Cathy Milner, exploring the art of ink and mixed media, and monotype with oils. To end the year on a high note, the Art of Writing Master class, led by literary agent Sarah Bullen and poetry coach Tara Rose, invites novice and experienced writers to dive deep into their craft.
