Canal Walk’s Children’s Theatre in Cape Town presents a unique adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale, Alice in Wonderland. From June 24th to July 16th, the award-winning team of Abrahamse and Meyer Productions brings the fantastical world of Wonderland to life, creating a delightful treat for viewers of all ages.

In this vibrant adaptation, the story of Alice is rendered with stunning visual effects, extraordinary costumes, and mesmerizing performances. The lead actress, Isabella Jane, with an impressive theatre background, is thrilled to play the role of Alice, a character that ignites imagination and adventure. Some of Jane’s past performances include notable roles in productions such as The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, and The Big Bad Musical.

A Show that Gives Back

This adaptation of Alice in Wonderland is more than just a whimsical journey; it serves a philanthropic purpose. For each ticket sold, R5 will be donated to the Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa, making the show a perfect blend of entertainment and goodwill.

An Exciting Venue for Theatergoers

The Canal Walk Shopping Centre’s Centre Court venue offers an exciting atmosphere for theatergoers, with snacks and drinks available for purchase. However, please note that prams and trolleys are not allowed in the theatre. Instead, a dedicated pram and trolley park will be provided for convenience.

Ticket Options for Everyone

To make this experience accessible to all, the organizers have set up various ticket options to suit everyone’s needs. Early bird tickets are available until June 4th for R90 per ticket. From June 5th to July 16th, standard keys can be purchased for R110 per ticket. Families can avail of a special discount with the family ticket option, where four or more tickets are priced at R100 each.

The show runs from June 24th to July 16th, with performances scheduled at 11 am, 12:30 pm, and 2 pm. Mondays are excluded from the schedule. Tickets can be purchased online.
