As the new DSTV Premiership season nears, Kaizer Chiefs is making significant changes to their squad to prepare for their opening game against Chippa United. The team recently brought in seven new players to replace those who left the team. The new players are Thathayoane Ditlhokwe, Given Msimango, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Edson Castillo, Pule Mmodi, Ranga Chivaviro, and Tebogo Potsane. On the other hand, Eric Mathoho, Siyabonga Ngezana, Phathutshedzo Nange, Cole Alexander, Khama Billiat, Austin Dube, and Kgaogelo Sekgota have all left the team.

Kgaogelo Sekgota’s Departure

Initially, there were rumors that Caleb Bimenyimana would also leave Kaizer Chiefs, but recent reports suggest that he will stay. Kgaogelo Sekgota, who joined the team from Moroka Swallows on a free transfer last season, was also at risk of leaving. However, the club decided to terminate his contract a year early due to his unimpressive performance. Stellenbosch FC has since confirmed him as their new signing.
