Media Accreditation and Outreach Programs for the Upcoming KZN Presidential Imbizo

The Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) has issued a call to media outlets to register for accreditation ahead of the Presidential Imbizo slated for June 30, 2023. The event will be held in Alfred Duma Local Municipality within the jurisdiction of uThukela District Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal Province.

Outreach Programs

Preceding the Imbizo, the government has planned several outreach programs to engage the public on critical issues affecting the KwaZulu-Natal Province and uThukela District Municipality. The programs will feature high-ranking government officials, including Ministers, MECs, and Mayors, who will address issues such as education, employment, healthcare, and infrastructure, among others.

Media Accreditation

To ease the accreditation process, journalists are requested to fill out a registration form found in the official GCIS announcement and submit it to either Takalani Mukwevho or Menzi Ntaka via email by June 19, 2023, at 16h00. For additional inquiries, William Baloyi can be contacted.
